The Legio X Fretensis is made up of "Roman Re-enactors" whose purpose is to present to the public a personal drama of life and times of Roman soldiers and civilians during the 1st century BC and 1st century AD, commonly known as the "Classical Era" of Roman History.  Legio X will demonstrate to the public, on several occassions during the year, a Roman Training Camp, History of Roman Armor, Battle Scenarios, Gladiator Contests, Pilum Throwing, and other types of Roman Military activities. Legio X Fretensis will be available to speak at schools, churches, and other public instiutions.
